From Survival to Success
Crossroads has a long rewarding relationship with its volunteers. Each year, dedicated, long-term volunteers are responsible for managing and staffing the daily operations of:
- The mailroom which serves over 3,500 people
- Clyde’s Kitchen which serves over 60,000 meals, 6 days a week
- Assistance in counseling and obtaining birth certificates and state IDs
Our job readiness program offers opportunities for volunteers with specific skills sets in social work, business and education, as well as leading personal training classes in hard and soft skills, such as computers, resume/interview techniques, professional development, life/healthy relationships and financial literacy.
