In 2024, the latest Point-in-Time (PIT) count highlights a concerning trend: homelessness in Atlanta has risen by 7% in the last year, with a 41% increase in unsheltered homelessness. Currently, 2,867 people are experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, including 1,040 unsheltered individuals. This increase underscores the importance of our mission and the urgent need for community support to address these challenges effectively.

At Crossroads Community Ministries, we continue to develop new programs to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Atlanta.

Many individuals experiencing homelessness face a range of challenges, including insufficient nutrition, and lack of vital documents like IDs and birth certificates along with their need for stable housing. At Crossroads, we help people overcome these barriers through our key projects: Clyde’s Kitchen, the Renewal Project, and our Door-to-Door Housing Program. These initiatives provide essential nutrition, help secure vital documents, and offer stable housing solutions, ensuring our neighbors have the support they need to build a better future.
