January 2017
Note from the Executive Director
What an amazing year 2016 turned out to be for Crossroads!
Once again more than 4000 of our neighbors facing the crisis of homelessness came to us to take the first steps toward social and economic stability. The access we provided to documentation, meals, clothing, mail and other services proved to be a true turning point in their journey! More importantly, the dignity they felt because of caring and respectful staff and volunteers gave many the encouragement needed to take the next step.
You, our supporters, were a vital part in that process. Through the generosity of your time and financial gifts, Crossroads remained at the forefront of seeing the homeless population in Atlanta decline for a fifth consecutive year. Well done!
But while we celebrate the progress we made this past year, we remain constantly mindful that each day someone is experiencing homelessness for the first time. For this reason, we must remain diligent in our efforts to increase access, increase resources and increase opportunity for every individual we encounter. This means that your investment and involvement are more important than ever.
In 2017, we look forward to working with you to insure more men, women and children than ever before leave the pain of homelessness behind forever!
Grace and Peace Be With You!
Tony
